Food Not Bombs

This re-brand of Food Not Bombs organizes their motives and elevates their overall brand.

Food Not Bombs is a non-violent, all-volunteer organization that provides free vegetarian meals and political support for people in hundreds of communities all over the world. They cook and provide vegan and vegetarian meals for the hungry by using extra food that companies are going to throw away. They advocate for reducing food waste and inspiring people to work towards social change.

This re-brand yields a consistent logo, clarification of brand values and a website-social media combo providing an effective platform for organization members and new participants.

Branding —

The Food Not Bombs’ design system is a simple, modern take on depicting community, energy and power to the people. The colors and flat imagery are designed to effectively and clearly communicate their message of peace and passion.

The Food Not Bombs website hosts all the information related to the organization. The redesign has a flat layout cohesive with the brand. Information is dispersed into modules, making navigation to important information easy.

Social Media —

For Food Not Bombs, social media is an important platform that allows international chapters to connect with each other and organize events. A hub for sharing photos and ideas lets each chapter contribute their experience, allowing the organization to evolve and develop.
